Specialist translations for hotels and tourism organizations
Since our founding in 2005, we have specialized in tourist translations. Tourist translations are, so to speak, the pillars of the Translator Group. Our regular customers include renowned hotel chains (e.g., Hilton, Accor) as well as small and medium sized hotel chains (Stanglwirt), tourism associations from large regions and cities such as Salzburg or the even smaller, yet nonetheless famous towns, such as Kitzbühel and Ischgl.
We are the specialists in the tourism translation industry!
The Translator Group has already translated hundreds of tourist and hotel websites, as well as every kind of promotional material for the tourism industry.
Our native translators are exceptionally highly qualified, but they are also creative, which is essential for tourism translations. After all, tourist texts are advertising, and they must be able to sell.
In general, we undertake the following kinds of projects for the tourism industry:
Translation of promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, folders etc.
Translation of online advertising
Translation and creation of foreign-language texts for Landing Pages
Translation of press releases and other PR texts
Translation of entire campaigns
Translation of booking platforms
The Mother Tongue Principle
The Mother Tongue Principle, also known as the Native Speaker Principle, is one of the corner stones of translation and is a very important consideration when employing translators for your content. The principle states that a linguist translates their native language. An English native speaker translates content into English, a Turkish native speaker translates content into Turkish, etc. A native speaker of a language is a person who was born, grew up and obtained his or her education in a country where the target language is the official language.
ISO 17100 certified tourism translation service
The Native Translator remains committed to providing the highest standards when it comes to translation quality. To achieve these standards, we have been certified to ISO 17100:2015* (formerly EN 15038) certified since 2011. We maintain these certifications through regular auditing completed by an official auditing body.
